Objetivo:
Los participantes analizarán y activarán su propio conocimiento sobre las diferentes áreas lingüísticas del inglés a través de actividades de software interactivo. Se plantearán los retos personales alcanzar en la construcción de nuevo conocimiento mediante la dosificación de la nueva información bajo las prácticas pedagógicas pertinentes; los participantes dominarán el nivel léxico estructural de la lengua inglesa a un nivel A2, aunado al manejo de competencias y habilidades requeridas en las habilidades receptoras y productoras.

Course IV. Welcome to the Jungle
Chapter XIII. Like water for chocolate

Objective: In this chapter you’ll learn the main things about something everyone loves: food. Hanna sent you a message about going to grab some food after shopping. Choose the best restaurant among the many restaurants in the food court

Listening: May I take your order (part 1): listen to what people orders in a coffee shop. He reacts to
the statements and recommends a restaurant.

                   Little Chef: listen to Johnny Vancity asking people about their eating preferences.

Reading: You’re what you eat: read about different breakfasts and eating habits around the world.
Writing: Like Water for Chocolate: tell about his/her eating habits.
Speaking: What’s in your fridge?: describe what food and drinks are in your fridge.

Objective: You just noticed you need to find a part-time job. Hanna will help you get ready for your job hunting experience

Objective: This is the final chapter of the book II. Hanna is in some place in Mexico and Johnny Vancity is in Ajijic, Jalisco, it’s a crazy chapter!. They want to know more about Mexico.

Listening: The Art of Travel: Listen to an interview about the best cities in Mexico to travel: what to
do, where to go, where to stay.
Reading: Looking for Australia: read an infographic about Australia.

Planes, trains and automobiles: read a train ticket.

Writing: My last trip: write a postcard from a recent trip (the course provides pictures and
